Today is the National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day.
According to National Today, approximately 6.5 million animals go into animal shelters each year in U.S. alone. The movement to raise awareness about animals in the shelters started in 1981 by the American Humane Society.
As we are a part of dog-related businesses, we believe we should take part in this important day by spreading word through our website and SNS. Some of our employees have met their forever pals at local shelters and happy ever since.
